Hello Substackers,In my last post, I made a promise to not let so much time pass without making another post. Well, clearly, that was not to be — but, instead of lingering upon the mistakes of the past, let’s just forge ahead into the future!
The 2023 - 2024 year was an interesting one, to be sure. Some new freelance projects, followed by a short-stint at a full-time gig meant that a lot of my time was already spoken for — but, now that things seem to be slowing down, I figure I should use that time to work on my own projects. To wit, I did want to use this post as an announcement.
In the next week, I will be opening up my paid content for my RPG studio, IrisIn Gaming, to Substack. This content will largely focus upon my homebrew scenarios for various tabletop games, and this launch will coincide with the release of three homebrew scenarios:
Dogstar Afteroon (For Alien the Role-Playing Game/Mothership)
Mace Windu Must Die! (For SW5e/Star Wars FFG)
The Beast of Buckland (For The One Ring/Lord of the Rings Role-Playing)
These three games have been playtested to extremely positive feedback, and so I will be happy to share them with a wider audience! Followers can look forward to future releases for:
Dungeons and Dragons
Vampire: the Masquerade
Call of Cthulhu
…and more!
Additionally, I will be releasing the first episodes of Vampire: the Masquerade - Written In Blood, an actual-play podcast with full music, sound effects, and more. Written In Blood is a historical chronicle set within New York City within the 19th Century, where the players find themselves in the midst of two civil wars — one of the kine and of the kindred.
Once again, thank you, loyal followers, for sticking around. And I look forward to a new era of content!
