Imagine, if you will...
Call of Cthulhu: Homecoming is a custom scenario that transports players to an age of sock-hop drama, and atom age anxieties!
Happy Belated Halloween, everyone!
Rock ’n’ roll on the radio. A high school football rivalry across town lines. And a voice on the airwaves that isn’t quite human…
Homecoming is a 1950s horror scenario for Call of Cthulhu that blends small-town Americana and nostalgia with creeping cosmic dread. Inspired by Call of “Kidthulhu” and the exceedingly popular scenario, The Dare, Homecoming also takes some cues from classic tales of midcentury weirdness like The Twilight Zone, and the campy if lovable Invasion of the Saucer Men, while also tipping its hat toward contemporary classics such as The Vast of Night, or The Faculty.
Homecoming invites you and your table to tune in, turn up, and find out what’s really hiding behind the static in the southwest town of Flatpoint, Arizona.
In this upcoming release, to be found on the Miskatonic Repository, players will find:
Immersive audio files to set the scene—DJ banter, eerie broadcasts, and stingers for those “oh no” moments.
City & scenario maps for smooth navigation and punchy reveals.
Custom character artwork to put faces to fear.
Four pre-generated investigators, representing intrepid members of Flatpoint High School’s class of 1958!
Homecoming is a one-shot scenario, designed to be played over the course of a single evening, or through a series of brief sessions, a title perfect for:
New or returning Keepers who want a ready-to-run thriller.
Tables that love 1950s Americana with a razor edge.
Fans of teenage angst colored by a looming threat from beyond!
All maps come in both classic, B-Movie Black & White…
Or in dazzling Technicolor!
Dial in, ladies and gentlemen… the signal’s getting stronger.
